Prof. Dr. Hagen Hasselbrink
Prof. Dr. Hagen Hasselbrink has been a notary in Berlin since 2015. His areas of practice include corporate law, transformation law, M&A transactions, and real estate law. He is an honorary professor at the Berlin University of Applied Sciences (HTW Berlin). He conducts notarial acts in German and English.

Prof. Dr. Hagen Hasselbrink studied law and completed his doctorate in Leipzig. He undertook his legal traineeship in Berlin, where he was subsequently admitted to the bar as an attorney. In this capacity, he worked for an international law firm in Berlin. He was appointed as a notary in 2015. Since the founding of notiq in 2023, he has been practicing as an attorney and notary at the Berlin Mitte office.
In corporate law, he notarizes company formations, including GmbH and UG incorporations, as well as capital measures, shareholders' meetings, and share transfers. A further focus is M&A transactions, private equity and venture capital transactions, as well as domestic and cross-border restructurings under the German Transformation Act. Clients include startups and founders, mid-market and owner-managed businesses, international corporate groups, and listed companies.
In real estate law, he is particularly active in portfolio transactions involving commercial and residential properties, both in the form of asset deals and share deals. He also handles property development projects as well as the acquisition and disposal of residential units, single-family and multi-family homes.
Prof. Dr. Hasselbrink is the author of numerous publications in corporate and transformation law and an honorary professor at HTW Berlin. He regularly gives specialist lectures on corporate and transformation law topics.
